My wife and i played the console version, i played demo and tested it and she did not play demo and he saved me and she got a game over.

no if you didnt play the demo you didnt get him till the update that happened for chapter 13 on console, thats when they gave it to everyone. I always thought I didn't have him, but I'm told the trick is to be in Easy mode (which I knew), but then you have to have Noct die AND let the Phoenix Down timer run out. I think demo was for being able to name him, not to have him. Not sure about the Windows Edition or Royal Edition.Īlso Carbuncle ONLY shows up in Easy Mode. Upon beating that demo you unlock Carbuncle for the main game.
